About Flamenco Master Class
Flamenco Master Class offers workshops for all- guitar, percussion, singing and dance and is suitable for absolute beginners and aficionados alike. Each monthly workshop will have a different theme and will be taught by our resident teachers or a visiting guest teacher direct from Spain.
This first ‘taster session’ is set to become a regular monthly meet-up for all flamenco enthusiasts in London bringing you the most authentic flamenco experience outside of Spain. It promises to be a unique opportunity to network with other students, performers and artists, advance your skills and enjoy the true spirit of Spanish culture, food & fiesta in one place, Costa Dorada- The home of live flamenco in London.
This month …
In this month’s Flamenco Master Class, each workshop will be focussed on the palo (rhythm) of ‘Buleria’ and throughout the course of the day you will have the opportunity to learn how the guitar, percussion, song and dance all fit together. Towards the end of the afternoon students will be encouraged to join in the ‘Tablao Experience’ where you will work together in groups, accompanied by the masterclass teachers, to perform live on the Costa Dorada stage.
After the workshops the stage will be open to all for a ‘Juerga’ where anyone brave enough can perform! If you’d like to join in please book in advance with Samantha (0207 631 5117) info@costadoradarestaurant.co.uk.
